Orit Barkay

Orit Barkay has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Orit is currently working as a Product Manager at Tarya Fintech - Reshaping Banking since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior System Analyst at Menora Mivtachim Insurance LTD from October 2020 to June 2021. From February 2018 to July 2020, Orit worked as a Finance Senior Business Analyst at Deloitte Israel.

Before joining Deloitte Israel, Orit worked at Seker - Deloitte as a Senior Information Technology Business Consultant from September 2008 to February 2018. During their time at Seker - Deloitte, they led the implementation of business process methodologies at Maccabi Healthcare Services and Tevel National Insurance Organization of Israel. Orit was responsible for designing business processes, SOA services, business objects, and UI. Orit also implemented ARIS at the Industrial Management Department.

Prior to their role at Seker - Deloitte, Orit worked at Amdocs in various positions. Orit worked as a Senior System Analyst from November 2006 to 2008, where they analyzed requirements, suggested solutions, and shared knowledge with team members. From 1999 to February 2005, they served as a Research Development Team Manager and Java/J2EE Software Developer at Amdocs, leading teams and participating in the analysis, design, and implementation of CRM products.

Overall, Orit Barkay has a strong background in system analysis, business analysis, and project management, with expertise in fintech, insurance, and finance industries.

Orit Barkay completed a Product management mentoring program at Product League from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, which they attended from 1996 to 1999.
