Sean Magee

Sean Magee has a diverse work experience with a focus on strategic communications, public affairs, and environmental management. Sean currently holds the position of VP, Corporate Affairs at Taseko Mines Limited, where they oversee the company's operations and sustainability initiatives. Prior to this, Sean served as the Principal & Founder of one-eighty, a specialized consulting firm that provided strategic regulatory and public affairs services to resource and infrastructure development clients in North America. Sean also held the position of Executive Vice President, Strategic Communications & Public Affairs at Hunter Dickinson Inc., where they provided counsel and leadership to publicly-traded companies in the mining sector. Previously, Sean was a co-founder of the Vancouver office of Optimum PR, a national consulting firm associated with the Cossette Communication Group. Sean played a key role in the rapid growth and success of the agency, serving as Vice President & General Manager. Additionally, Sean worked as a Communication Manager for the Forest Alliance of BC. Throughout their career, Sean has demonstrated expertise in managing environmental assessments, regulatory permitting processes, and stakeholder engagement.
