Robert Cid

Robert Cid has extensive work experience in various management and engineering roles. Robert is currently serving as the Director of Marketing And Product Management at TASI Group, where they oversee the development and manufacturing instrumentation for measuring gas and liquid flow in industries such as Oil & Gas and semiconductor processing. Prior to this, Robert worked as the Sr. Global Product Manager at Bruker Nano Surfaces for optical metrology equipment. Robert was responsible for product management in semiconductor, industrial automation, and R&D environments. Before that, they were the Global Product Manager at Infinite Electronics, Inc., where they managed RF surge protection, power protection cabinets, and military defense EMP protection products. Robert also worked at TE Connectivity, where they held positions such as Global Product Manager - Consumer Devices, Sr. Engineering Manager, and Senior Development Engineer. In these roles, they managed consumer connectivity solutions, led teams of application and product engineers in circuit protection development, and designed over voltage protection components.

Robert Cid has a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of California, Davis, where they studied Applied Physics and Engineering - Applied Science with a focus on optics and plasma physics. In 2014, they also completed TE Connectivity's Product Manager Academy, earning a certification in Product Management. The program focused on areas such as Product Strategy, Marketing, Pricing, and general Product Portfolio Management.
