Mark Boomgarden

Mark Boomgarden serves as President & CEO of Moore Nanotechnology Systems and Moore Tool Company since April 2018, in addition to holding the position of Director and Board President. Mark is a Limited Partner at Task Force X Capital Management, supporting veteran-led businesses, and plays an active role as Pink Tie Guy with Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Lowcountry Affiliate. Mark has contributed to Joules Accelerator as a Board member and mentor, and holds various advisory roles at UNC Charlotte, Keene State College, and Charlotte Fund. Previously, Mark co-founded Akoustis Technologies, Inc., where significant advancements in mobile wireless technology were achieved. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
