Alexander Herz

Alexander Herz has a solid work history in software engineering and management roles. Alexander started their career at Lionhead Studios in 2002 as a Software Developer and eventually became an Interim Team Lead. In 2015, they joined Altium as a Compiler Engineer and later became the Head of Product Engineering. From 2017 to 2018, they worked at Dassault Systèmes 3DEXCITE as a Department Lead for Experience Technology & Tools Development. Alexander then moved to TOMTEC Imaging Systems in 2018 and held the position of Software Engineering Manager until 2023. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineering Manager at TASKING.

Alexander Herz received their Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Technical University of Munich, which they attended from 2004 to 2009. Alexander then pursued further education at the same university, earning a Ph.D. in Computer Science from 2009 to 2015.
