Franz Maidl

Franz Maidl has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the technology industry. Franz is currently serving as the CSO of TASKING, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Global TASKING Business at Altium starting in 2013.

Before joining Altium, Franz was the Executive Director and Partner at Strongfield Group from 2009 to 2012. Franz also held the role of CEO at Jumatech from 2006 to 2008 and served as the Director of Europe at VaST System Technology from 2003 to 2005.

Franz's earlier career includes positions such as VP and GM of European Operations at Innoveda in 2002 and Director of SRM&Content Europe at i2 Technologies in 2001.

Franz began their career at Mentor Graphics in 1988 and worked there for over 12 years. During their tenure, they held various positions including Global AM Siemens, Sales Manager DACH, and Area Director Central Europe.

Franz Maidl attended Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences from 1979 to 1983. Franz pursued a degree in Technical Physics and successfully graduated with a Dipl.-Ing. degree.
