Anthony Duran has a solid work experience in the field of software development and quality assurance. Mer Boy Anthony is currently working at Taskworld Inc. as a Lead Quality Engineer, where they have been in the role since August 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Software Engineer In Test at the same company from December 2021 to July 2022.

Before joining Taskworld Inc., Anthony worked at Finastra as a Technical Consultant QA from December 2020 to November 2021. Prior to AmBank Group, Anthony worked at Accenture as a Test Engineering Analyst from May 2015 to May 2019. During this time, they delivered high-quality software for various projects across web, mobile, and API platforms. Mer Boy Anthony reviewed product requirements, developed comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts, and performed integration, confirmatory, and regression testing.

Mer Boy Anthony Duran earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology from Silliman University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications. In November 2014, they received the Philippine Information Technology General Certification from the Cebu Educational Development Foundation. In December 2018, they obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from the UK Testing Board. Most recently, in April 2020, they completed the Managing Stress for Positive Change certification from LinkedIn.
