Matt Armstrong

Matt Armstrong is an experienced welder and fabricator with a diverse skill set in various welding techniques and materials. Currently serving as a Rope Access Welder at Tasman Rope Access since August 2017, Matt also works as a Special Class Welder at EVT JV Wheatstone tanks and has held multiple roles at Callidus Welding Solutions since January 2011, including Coded Welder, Pipe Fitter, and Boilermaker, focusing on high pressure vessels and exotic materials. Previous experience includes tenure at Score Group plc, performing welding and fabrication with a specialization in exotic materials, as well as technical roles involving thermal spray processes and robotic operations. Matt demonstrates strong leadership in supervising teams and managing on-site operations, ensuring adherence to safety policies and meeting project KPIs.
