Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG)
Rachael Tanner currently works in visitor services and digitization as well as collection management at TMAG. Rachael is also a yoga teacher at Alceme Studios and has experience as a kindergarten assistant at Lady Gowrie. Previously, Rachael worked as a technical officer at Griffith University Art Museum and as a gallery assistant at Mona. Additionally, Rachael has experience as an archivist at Bligh Tanner. Rachael holds a Master's degree in Museum Studies from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, specializing in Sculpture, from Queensland College of Art.

The Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery aims to provide, promote and facilitate interaction with, and understanding of, the cultural and natural world for present and future generations. The Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery collects, preserves, researches, displays, interprets and safeguards the physical evidence of the natural and cultural heritage of Tasmania, together with relevant material from interstate and overseas. The purpose of this collection is to provide present and future generations with the opportunity to gain information and insight into their world.
