Louise Thorp

Louise Thorp is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and capital works planning, currently serving as the Head of Major Transmission Projects at TasNetworks since June 2023. Prior to this role, Louise held the position of Director Capital Works Planning & Delivery at the University of Tasmania from December 2019 to June 2023. Previous experience includes serving as Senior Development Manager at Lendlease from December 2014 to December 2019, Manager Project Services at Edge Energy Services between 2011 and 2014, and Project Director at Blue Care Property Solutions from 2006 to 2011. Louise's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Master of Applied Finance (MAppFin) from Queensland University of Technology, a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Technology Sydney, and an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services from Deakin University.
