Simone Mazengarb

Simone Mazengarb is a communications manager currently working at TasPorts, specializing in integrated communication strategies. Over the past decade, they have contributed to attracting foreign investment in South Australia, managing the state's clean energy transition, and engaging with consumer aspects of distributed energy systems. Prior to transitioning to journalism in 2011, Simone worked as a freelance camera operator in the film and television industry for seven years. They hold a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from RMIT and a Bachelor of Creative Arts from Flinders University, with Honors in Cinematography.
