Ehud Barnea

Ehud Barnea, PhD, currently serves as the Head of AI at tasq.ai since 2023 and has been the main organizer of the RetailVision Workshop from 2020 to the present, contributing to multiple accepted conferences including CVPR. Prior experience includes leading the Computer Vision Team at Trax Retail from 2018 to 2023 and engaging in computer vision research related to fruit detection within the EU Horizon 2020 program from 2015 to 2017. During academic tenure at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Ehud Barnea completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science and led research projects in fruit detection for autonomous systems as part of the cRops project from 2011 to 2015.
