Misha Pavlov

Misha Pavlov has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of system engineering and administration. They started their career at Merrill Lynch in 1996, where they provided support for Solaris servers infrastructure in the Equity and Portfolio Trading department. From 1998 to 2001, Misha worked as a Senior Systems Administrator at CIBC World Markets, where they supported various trading groups and engineered the corporate technology infrastructure. After that, they joined Deutsche Bank as a Senior Systems Administrator, where they provided UNIX server production support for different groups across multiple locations.

In 2003, Misha joined SIAC as a Senior Systems Engineer, responsible for systems integration and support for commercial clients' websites. They then moved to JPMorgan Chase, where they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer, supporting E-Commerce portals and client/server systems for the Internet Certification Facility Lab.

From 2005 to 2013, Misha worked as the VP of Linux and Solaris Systems Engineering at Societe Generale, where they led a restructure and upgrade of the regional server build environment. They also performed Linux kernel compilations, server tuning, and build and packaging.

In 2014, Misha joined Bloomberg LP as a Reliability and Performance Engineer, focusing on capacity, performance, and latency investigations of trading and infrastructure systems. They also developed automation and orchestration tools and scripts.

Later on, Misha joined Morgan Stanley in 2018 as an Endpoint Security Platform and Reliability Engineer. Their responsibilities included designing and engineering enterprise security platforms, capacity evaluation, tuning, and upgrades. They also developed automation tools and followed DevOps best practices.

Most recently, Misha joined SPBnix, Inc in 2021 as a Site Reliability, Performance and Platform Security Engineer. They are responsible for ensuring reliability, performance, and security of the platform.

Currently, Misha is working at Tassat as a Linux System Engineer, starting in 2021. The roles and responsibilities in this position are not specified.

Misha Pavlov obtained a Certification in COBOL from The Cittone Institute.
