Vanessa Hammler Kenon

Vanessa Hammler Kenon, Ed.D., currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Technology Compliance and Community Engagement at The University of Texas at San Antonio since January 2008. In addition to this role, Vanessa Kenon holds the position of Associate Vice President for Information Management Technology and Assistant Vice Provost for IT, overseeing the operations of over 175 IT employees and managing a multi-million dollar technology budget. Furthermore, Vanessa Kenon is a COEHD ELPS Graduate Research Fellow and the UBMS Director at TASSCC, where responsibilities include serving as Board Secretary and participating in various committees. Academically, Vanessa Kenon earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio, supplemented by a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business/Corporate Communications and English Language and Literature from Trinity University.
