Melissa Schipke began their career in 2009 as a Territory Sales Manager for Altria, where they managed retail tobacco categories at 130 independently and chain owned stores and a direct wholesale customer. At Tassl, Melissa developed technologies in collaboration with alumni relation managers, groups, and alumni to meet their specific market needs. Melissa also served as a Unit Sales Manager at Altria, where they analyzed quantitative and qualitative market data to uncover business opportunities and create strategic plans to achieve results. In this role, they trained and developed a team of 5 territory sales managers to optimize organizational growth and increase revenue, market share, and volume for 600+ retail accounts, representing ~$150MM in annual sales revenue for Altria.
