Auresa Nyctea

Auresa Nyctea has had diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Auresa currently works as an Engineering Manager at Tasso, Inc., starting in December 2022. Prior to this, they spent nearly a decade at Faithlife, where they started as a Software Developer in January 2014 and later transitioned to leading the Faithlife Groups team. During their time at Faithlife, Auresa played a crucial role in the growth and development of the team, increasing its size from 5 to 13 members during the Covid-19 pandemic. Auresa also led the development and release of Faithlife Sites, a website builder for churches that offered a customizable experience using React.

Before joining Faithlife, Auresa worked as a Theatre Technician at Western Washington University from March 2011 to December 2013. Auresa also served as a Computer Assistant 4 at WWU Academic Technology & User Services from an unknown start date to December 2013. In addition, Auresa gained valuable experience through internships at Microsoft. Auresa worked as an SDET Expression Blend Intern from June 2012 to September 2012 and as an SDET Intern for the Expression Blend Team in 2012.

Auresa's earliest work experience includes a role as a Stage Manager at Thurston Community Television from an unknown start date to 2008. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise and growth in software development, team leadership, and technical skills throughout their career.
