Amberleigh Klaus is an experienced educator currently serving as a 3rd Grade Teacher at Virginia Beach City Public Schools since August 2023. Previously, Amberleigh held a similar role at St. Gregory the Great Catholic School until February 2024 and worked as a 1st Grade Teacher and grade level chair at Norfolk Public Schools from August 2015 to July 2018. Other relevant experience includes serving as the Director of Extended Care at St. Marys Catholic School and various teaching positions within Norfolk Public Schools from 1998 to 2004. Additionally, Amberleigh worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant at Freddie Mac and had early experience as a Lab Processor at Sentara Healthcare. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Early Childhood Education from Norfolk State University, complemented by further studies at George Mason University and Old Dominion University.
