Jeelani Basha

Jeelani Basha is the Executive Vice President and Head – Broca, Corporate Agents and Direct at Tata AIA Life Insurance. He joined the organization in 2017. Since then, he has flourished the channel to great success by piloting beneficial business change, across-the-board results, and profitable growth through bold and inspirational leadership.

He has been instrumental in growing BroCA channel at a CAGR of 24% in the last four years, focusing on quality & productivity. Jeelani has a wealth of experience in New Business Development, Managing Partnerships, Alliances, Team Building, and Business restructuring. He has worked with ICICI Prudential for a decade.

He handled multiple roles with Bancassurance & International business teams, Managed Broking vertical along with Banca in HDFC Standard Life. His previous assignment was with 3i Infotech Ltd., as a Global Sales Head & Regional Head- MEA, Middle East.

He has been the recipient of the ‘Quality Leadership Award’ in Asia Leadership Awards ’2015.

Jeelani has completed his Master’s in Foreign trade from Pondicherry University.
