Deepak Kumar has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Deepak started their career as an Admin Officer at National Insurance Co. Ltd in 2006 and worked there until 2007. In 2007, they joined IFFCO-TOKIO GIC as an Asst. Manager and stayed until 2008. From 2008 onwards, they joined Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited, where they held various roles including National Manager - Reinsurance and Head of Reinsurance & Aviation and Credit Insurance, Surety & Political Risk.
Deepak Kumar completed their education at several institutions. Deepak first attended Mount Assisi School, Bhagalpur from 1982 to 1994, where they obtained their Class 10th degree. Then, from 1994 to 1996, they studied Computer Science at Delhi Public School - R.K. Puram. Finally, from 1997 to 2002, they pursued a Dual Degree in Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. In addition to their formal education, Deepak is currently pursuing various certifications, including Associate Diploma from the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Chartered Insurance Institute in London. Deepak has also obtained a Fellow certificate from the Insurance Institute of India and certifications in commodities, derivatives, and securities markets from the National Stock Exchange of India and student actuary status from the Institute of Actuaries of India.
