Sumit Suryawanshi

Sumit Suryawanshi is an experienced professional in the field of power electronics and automotive engineering, currently serving as Manager of Power Electronics in EV Engineering R&D at TATA AutoComp Systems Ltd since July 2021, having previously held the role of Deputy Manager. Prior to this, Sumit worked at VARROC as Lead CoC Engineer in Advanced Engineering, where contributions included the development of futuristic automotive products such as ISG, traction motor controllers, and DC-DC converters. Additional experience includes positions as Power Electronics Design Engineer at The Tata Power Company Ltd. and Hardware Engineer at igrenEnergi, Inc., alongside early career experience as a Trainee Engineer at Aplab Limited. Sumit holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Sardar Patel College of Engineering, a Master of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering specializing in Power Electronics from Savitribai Phule Pune University, and a Diploma in Electronics Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, along with notable academic performance in earlier education.
