Tamizharasan Shanmugam

Tamizharasan Shanmugam is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Autoliv since December 2018, Tamizharasan has also held the position of Director of Engineering at the same company. Additionally, Tamizharasan has been the Business Unit Head at TACO Technical Centre since November 2016. Previous experience includes Vice President of Innovation & R&D at ELGi, Director and GM roles at Whirlpool Corporation, Head of COC Mechanism at TATA Johnson Controls Ltd., and Engineering Manager at Johnson Controls USA. Tamizharasan holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering, earned between 1988 and 1992.
