Masood Hussainy

Masood Hussainy is an experienced executive in the aerospace and defense sector, currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Aerostructures and Aero-Engines at TATA Advanced Systems Limited since May 2012. In this role, Masood leads a workforce of 6,000, overseeing end-to-end capabilities across multiple facilities in Nagpur, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. Additionally, Masood holds director positions on the boards of TATA SIKORSKY AEROSPACE LIMITED and Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited, both since March 2023. Prior experience includes a role in the Chairman's Office at TATA SONS LIMITED, where Masood managed projects and investments related to aerospace, defense, and energy. Early career positions at Tata Teleservices and TATA Administrative Services provided foundational experience in marketing and business development. Masood holds a Master’s degree in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia.
