Martin Uhlarik

Martin Uhlarik is an experienced design professional with a robust background in the automotive industry. Currently serving as the VP Head of Global Design and Head of Design UK at Tata Motors since June 2016, Martin also holds the position of Director at Tata Motors European Technical Centre (TMETC) since April 2022. Prior to these roles, Martin was the UK Design Director and Vice Design Director at SAIC Motor UK Technical Centre Limited from February 2012 to March 2016, and served as a Project Design Leader at Nissan Design Europe in London from 2001 until February 2012. Martin’s career began at ŠKODA AUTO a.s. as a Senior Interior Designer from September 1994 to May 2001. Martin holds a BSc in Transportation Design from ArtCenter College of Design and an AOCA in Industrial Design from OCAD University.
