Samrat Kumar

Samrat Kumar possesses extensive experience in vehicle integration and quality management across multiple esteemed automotive companies. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Tata Motors since March 2022, responsibilities include overseeing the quality management of haulage heavy commercial vehicles from conception to launch. Previously, Samrat worked at Bajaj Auto Ltd as a Manager focusing on the integration and architecture of high-performance sports and off-roading bikes, and at Eicher Trucks and Buses as a Deputy Manager, where significant projects included the Pro 6028 and Pro 6035 haulage cabins. Earlier career roles included Design Engineer at Tata Technologies, involved in the vehicle integration of Jaguar and Land Rover models, and internships with the Indian Ordnance Factory Services. Samrat Kumar holds a PhD in Production & Industrial Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur and an MBA in Operations Management from NMIMS. Additionally, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering has been earned from KIIT.
