Shantanu Sharma

Shantanu Sharma has over 18 years of experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as DGM-Electric Vehicle Platform-Programme Quality Manager at Tata Motors since February 2009. In this role, Shantanu has successfully led the quality management of electric vehicle projects, including the Nexon EV, Tiago/Tigor EV, and Punch EV, ensuring smooth and defect-free launches. Prior positions at Tata Motors include DGM of vehicle platforms and Sr. Manager in powertrain quality management, where responsibilities involved presenting program risks and driving DFMEA activities. Early career experience includes a Graduate Engineer Trainee position at Force Motors Ltd and a project role at Inteltec. Shantanu holds a Master's degree in Manufacturing Technology from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
