M Zaid Kaliya FCA, DTM, FCCA has extensive work experience in various financial roles. Starting with KPMG, they worked as an Assistant Manager Audit, providing internal and external audit services to multinational and local clients. M Zaid Kaliya then moved on to PharmEvo Private Limited, where they served as Chief Internal Auditor, establishing an Internal Audit Department and saving over Rs. 100 million through process improvement recommendations. At Shield Corporation Limited, Zaid held multiple positions, including Director Finance & HR and Chief Financial Officer, where they implemented a successful 5-year business growth strategy and negotiated competitive rates for financing facilities. Later, at Alkaram Textile Mills Pvt. Ltd, they served as Chief Financial Officer & Head of IT, leading the implementation of Oracle EBS and managing treasury functions. Currently, Zaid is working as the Chief Financial Officer at TATA PAKISTAN, where they successfully implemented cloud-based ERP Oracle Fusion and restructured Finance, Accounting, Tax, and IT functions.

M Zaid Kaliya FCA, DTM, FCCA has a varied education history. In 1995, they completed their studies in Science at PAF Faisal Base. M Zaid Kaliya then went on to study Commerce at COMMECS, obtaining an Intermediate degree in 1997.

In 2003, they began their studies at ACCA and completed their Chartered Certified Accountant degree in Finance in 2005. During this time, they also enrolled at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and became a Chartered Accountant.

In 2007, they became a Certified Internal Auditor through the Institute of Internal Auditor.

More recently, in 2018, they completed the Strategic CFO Program at MECA CFO Academy.

In addition to their educational qualifications, M Zaid Kaliya FCA, DTM, FCCA has obtained various certifications. M Zaid Kaliya obtained the Rock Your LinkedIn Profile certification from LinkedIn in September 2020. In July 2020, they became a Proficient Coach through Toastmasters International. In December 2018, they achieved the distinction of a Distinguish Toastmaster and obtained the Advanced Communication Gold certification. Other certifications they have obtained include Advanced Communication Bronze and Advanced Communication Silver from Toastmasters International.

Furthermore, they have certifications in Advanced Leadership Bronze and Advanced Leadership Silver from Toastmasters International. M Zaid Kaliya is also a Certified Director through SECP.

Lastly, they have received the Competent Communicator Award and Competent Leadership Award from Toastmasters International, and has knowledge in The Leadership Grid.
