Arvind Sathyamoorthy

Arvind Sathyamoorthy has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Arvind began their career at Airworks India Engineering Private Limited as an Assistant Manager (Finance) from June 2000 to June 2002. Arvind then joined GECIS (now Genpact) as a Process Developer, where they were responsible for closing and reporting of an American Life Insurance Company from January 2003 to August 2005.

Following this, Arvind worked at Eaton Corporation as an Associate Process Leader. Here, they served as a Project Manager for Oracle Financials Implementation, ensuring the successful implementation of Oracle E Business Suite for business units from April 2006 to August 2009.

Arvind then moved on to Aegis Limited, progressing from the role of Head Payments Process to Associate Vice President. As the AVP Transitions & Solutions, they were responsible for integrating all payment processes into shared services and deploying an electronic payment solution from August 2009 to January 2015.

Next, they joined Cipla as a Director - Finance Shared Services. Here, they led the design and implementation of the Finance Shared Service initiative, mapping existing processes, designing new processes, and transitioning them to the shared services environment. Arvind also project-managed technology-based initiatives to enhance process efficiency from January 2015 to September 2022.

Currently, Arvind is working at TATA Power as the Head - Finance Transformation. Their role started in September 2022, and no end date has been specified.

Arvind Sathyamoorthy's education history includes a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Commerce from SIES (Mumbai University), which they obtained from 1993 to 1996. In 1998, they completed a degree as an Accounting Technician from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. More recently, in 2012 and 2013, they pursued Business Management and earned a PGCBM from XLRI Jamshedpur.
