Matthew Crawford

Matthew Crawford has a robust background in the steel industry, currently serving as an Area Technical Manager and formerly as a Shift Operations Manager at British Steel since April 2017. Responsibilities include managing a team and a remote worker to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate operations while analyzing the chemistry of steel using advanced techniques such as XRF spectrometers, X-rays, and combustion analyzers. Previously, Matthew held a similar position at Tata Steel in Europe. Matthew holds a Level 5 Higher National Certificate in Materials Engineering and a BTEC National Certificate in Engineering from Rotherham College of Arts and Technology.
