Kingshuk Poddar

Kingshuk (王菽) Poddar is an experienced professional in the medical materials and devices sector, currently serving as the Head of Medical Material and Devices at Tata Steel since June 2020. Prior to this role, Kingshuk held various leadership positions, including Director at HUMAN CELL RESEARCH BHARATH PRIVATE LIMITED and Director and CEO at AIC - AMTZ Medi Valley Incubation Council. With a focus on innovation and market access for medical technologies, Kingshuk previously led initiatives at the Kalam Institute of Health Technology and contributed as a Senior Clinical Research Associate at the National University Health System. Kingshuk holds multiple degrees, including a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from the National Law School of India University and an MSc in Crop Physiology and Molecular Biology from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, complemented by certifications in entrepreneurial skills and health technology assessment.
