Russell Codling

Russell Codling is an experienced professional in the steel industry, currently serving as the Director of Markets Business Development & Commercial Services at Tata Steel since April 2023. Codling has held various influential positions, including Non Executive Director at the International Steel Statistics Bureau since November 2013, and Director of Markets and Business Development at Tata Steel in Europe from July 2019 to April 2023. Prior roles at Tata Steel include Head of Customer & Market Strategy, where strategies were developed for premium steel products, and Marketing Manager, overseeing business strategy and product management. Prior to Tata Steel, Codling worked at Corus, managing strategy development and leading sales teams in the construction product sector. Codling holds a BEng (hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Greenwich and an MBA from the University of Leicester.
