Sampat Nayak

Sampat Nayak has been with Tata Steel since July 2015, currently serving as Senior Manager of Digital Transformation & Strategy, while also contributing as a Data Scientist for Project MARVEL, which focuses on implementing advanced analytics in the mining sector in collaboration with Accenture. Previous roles at Tata Steel include Business Performance Manager, where responsibilities involved facilitating improvement initiatives in the West Bokaro coal division through performance analysis, and Project Manager, overseeing minor capital projects. Sampat Nayak began professional training as a Management Trainee Technical, completing a program that covered key operational and ethical aspects of the company alongside mining technology. Prior experience includes various trainee roles at JCB, VEERRACERSS, AUTONEXT, and Rourkela Steel Plant. Education includes a Bachelor of Technology in Production Engineering from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology and a High School Certificate from Delhi Public School Rourkela.
