Soummo Bose

Soummo Bose serves as the Head of Artificial Intelligence at Tata Steel since November 2011, having also held roles such as Senior Manager of Business Transformation and Senior Manager of Quality Assurance. With extensive experience in digital transformation initiatives within the steel industry, Soummo has contributed to significant technology interventions and the improvement of quality assurance processes. Notable achievements include developing systems for vendor process improvements and reducing inventory costs. Previously, Soummo worked as an Engineer at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, focusing on coal handling plant projects, and gained early experience as an intern at Larsen & Toubro India Ltd. and Bhaba Atomic Research Centre. Soummo holds a PGDM in Marketing & Strategy from XLRI Jamshedpur and a B-Tech in Manufacturing Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
