Thomas Discepola

Thomas Discepola has over 12 years of work experience. Thomas began their career in 2008 as a Cataloging and Reference Assistant at D'Angelo Law Library, where they were responsible for proofing translations from French and Italian to English for OCLC (MARC-format) Databases. Thomas then moved to Macmillan Publishers in 2009, where they served as an Operations Assistant and was responsible for processing Access Work-Order/Back-Order Data Sheets and providing general assistance to the Sales and Marketing Staff in the creation and maintenance of new ISBNs. From 2011 to 2020, Thomas worked at a variety of companies, including Everyday Health, VICE Media, Yahoo!, Google, YouTube, Matterkind, and Oracle. In their most recent role, they are a Programmatic Lead at Tatari.

Thomas Discepola earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from the University of Chicago between 2003 and 2007. Thomas then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Rutgers University between 2010 and 2012.
