Nami Onodera has extensive work experience in various industries. Nami began their career with Tokyo Disney Resort as a Global Communication Specialist from 1982 to 1984. Nami then worked for the Japan Ski Federation as an Events and Communication Specialist from 1984 to 1988. Nami continued their career at GE Capital and NTT Innovation Institute, Inc. as a Program Localization Specialist and Telecom 97 Project Manager, respectively. In 1995, they joined Nike Japan as a Marketing Manager, where they played a crucial role in setting up the Winter Olympic Marketing presence for the Nagano Olympics. Nami also served as a communication liaison for elite athletes and press conferences. Nami then transitioned to Nike as a Global Communication Specialist from 1998 to 2001, where they coordinated internal global meetings and facilitated cross-cultural presentations. In 2010, they joined PayPal as a Webinar Localization professional. Currently, Nami holds the position of Executive Director of Brand & Culture at TATCHA, a start-up beauty company that emphasizes the tradition and craftsmanship of Japan in its natural and beautiful products.
