Amy Concannon serves as the Manton Senior Curator of Historic British Art at Tate since June 2012, leading a team responsible for the care and development of the historic British art collection. Key responsibilities include chairing research and acquisition meetings, managing curatorial staff, and fostering relationships with donors. Previous roles include Curator and Assistant Curator for British Art 1790–1850, where Amy developed major exhibitions and partnerships, including the landmark "Queer British Art, 1867-1967." Amy holds a PhD in Art History from the University of Nottingham and has extensive experience in exhibition management and curatorial practices from positions at Dulwich Picture Gallery, The Wordsworth Trust, and as a doctoral researcher.
