George Hicks

George Hicks is an experienced educator and tour guide with a diverse background in the arts and languages. Currently, George serves as a Tour Guide at WorldStrides, managing educational tours across Europe for American high school groups, and as an Educator at Tate, leading tours for various school and corporate groups. Previous teaching roles include teaching German and French at Westminster Academy and Haberdashers' Aske's Federation, along with private tutoring in multiple languages. George holds a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages from UCL, a Postgraduate Diploma in Art History from The Courtauld Institute of Art, and a degree in German and Italian from the University of Oxford. Experience also includes a role in client services at Christie's and cultural mediation at The Peggy Guggenheim Collection.
