Angela King

Angela King serves as the Director and Head of IP at Tate & Lyle since July 2025, overseeing global intellectual property assets and delivering commercially focused advice across various business functions. Prior experience includes roles as a Patent Attorney at Croda and Johnson Matthey, as well as a European Patent Attorney specializing in chemistry at Murgitroyd. Angela's career began as a Product Development Chemist at Ineos Silicas and Crosfield's ex. ICI, focusing on silicas and zeolites for diverse applications. Academic credentials include an MSc in Management of Intellectual Property from Queen Mary University of London and a BSc (Hons) in Applied Chemistry from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
