Gregory Werkheiser

Greg and his wife Rachel are the proud parents of three children, including Owen ’25 and Madeline ’26. Both Owen and Madeline have been part of the Tatnall family since enrolling in Tatnall’s Early Childhood program at the ages of 4 and 3, respectively.

Greg is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University (BS finance, 1992) and the Delaware Law School, Widener University (JD, 1996).

A member of the Delaware bar for more than two decades, Greg is a partner in the Wilmington, Delaware office of Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff, LLP, an AmLaw 200 business law firm. Before entering private practice, Greg served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jane R. Roth of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Greg is a long-serving member of the board of editors for the Delaware Lawyer, the Delaware Bar Foundation’s flagship publication, and volunteers with the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence. Greg and his family are active members of Congregation Beth Emeth synagogue.
