Loni Philip Tabb is an Associate Professor of Biostatistics in the Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University and has been at the University since 2009. As a professor, her research examines the intersection of health, place, and time – with an added focus on health and social disparities that impact marginalized populations. She also teaches a number of required courses to graduate (biostatistics) students in the School of Public Health, as well as advising and mentoring both MS and PhD candidates. Her service in the field of biostatistics focuses significantly on creating a more diverse and inclusive environment to train and develop the next generation of biostatisticians.
Loni has served on Tattnall’s inaugural Diversity, Equity, and Community Steering Committee to further support and guide diversity, equity, and community related initiatives at the school. She is also an active member of her church, Harvest Christian Fellowship in Wilmington, DE.
She is a graduate of Drexel University (BS 2003, MS 2005) and Harvard University (AM 2007, PhD 2010), with degrees in mathematics and biostatistics, respectively. She and her husband Thomas live in Delaware and are parents to Madison ‘30 and Chandler ‘33.
