Pam Politis

Pam Politis is currently employed as Executive Director, Legal at Incyte Corporation in Wilmington, Delaware. Pam is responsible for providing legal support to the North American business organization for the rapidly growing pharmaceutical company. She serves as a frequent speaker on legal topics involving healthcare policy and pharmaceutical research, advertising, and distribution. She is active in fostering professional development with her employer as well as outside organizations. Additionally, she was recently recognized as a 2021 Luminary for the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association.

Pam has been practicing as in-house counsel since 2007. She has filled a variety of roles, such as working in private practice at Delaware law firms as a patent attorney and patent agent. Pam is licensed to practice in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and the US Patent and Trademark Office. She received her JD from Widener University School of Law, her PhD in Biophysics from the University of Michigan, and her BA in Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Pam remains active in her community. She has been a volunteer attorney for the Delaware Office of the Child Advocate since 2009. In that capacity, she has been a Guardian Ad Litem for several children in Delaware's foster care system. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Arden Community Recreation Association for over a decade and served four years on the Board of Assessors for the Village of Arden (2016-2020). She was recently elected to a two-year term on the Community Planning Committee for the Village of Arden. Previously, she served for five years as a Trustee of Wilmington Montessori School (including one year as Chair).

Pam and her husband Jeffrey have two boys, Jackson and Jacob '26. Jackson graduated from high school in 2021 and attends college in North Carolina. With COVID-19 disrupting so much of their typical activities, they have enjoyed discovering a new enthusiasm for gardening, hiking, and cooking but look forward to the return of sports, music, and theater productions.
