Terri M. Young

Terri has more than 40 years of human resources experience in the financial sector as well as the healthcare industry. She recently retired from Nemours Children’s Health System as senior vice president and chief experience officer. She joined the Tatnall board in 2013 and has supported the president of the board in the assessment process of the Head of School. Terri is also a member of the board of directors for the St. Pat’s Center, an organization that supports senior citizens as well as the homeless. Previously she was chairman of the board of education for the Diocese of Wilmington as well as chair of the board for Catholic Charities for the Diocese. Terri’s undergraduate degree is in education from the University of Delaware, and she has a master’s in business administration from Widener University. Terri has a 28-year-old daughter who resides in Sydney, Australia.
