Adam Haynes has worked in a variety of roles in the media industry since 2005. Adam began their career as a Newsreader/Reporter at Nova 93.7 in 2005. In 2007, they joined the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) as a Reporter. In 2009, they moved to Nine Entertainment Co. as a State Political Reporter. From 2011 to 2014, they held a variety of roles, including Freelance Sub-Editor at The Associated Press, Assistant Programme Editor at Al Jazeera English, Freelance Reporter at Bloomberg LP, and Deputy News Director, Executive Producer (6pm Perth), and Senior News Producer at Nine. In 2013, they were a Senior Media Adviser to Hon. Brendon Grylls and Hon. Peter Collier at The Government of Western Australia. In 2021, they joined Minderoo Foundation as a Senior Communications Manager, and in 2022 they became the Head Of Communications at Tattarang.

Adam Haynes attended Curtin University from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
