Samantha Johnson is the Founder and CEO of Tatum Robotics, established in September 2021, focusing on developing the first independent communication tool for individuals with deafblindness. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northeastern University for the Biomechanics course, and a Physical Therapy & Assistive Design Co-op at Perkins School for the Blind, where support was provided to intellectually and physically disabled students. Samantha has conducted research in the Monaghan Regenerative Medicine Lab at Northeastern University, investigating nerve dependence in limb regeneration, and contributed to various research and development roles, including assisting in FDA submission processes and developing sports medicine devices at Mitek Sports Medicine. Samantha holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering and a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering, both from Northeastern University, alongside prior studies in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology.
