Michael Whitten, P.E.

Michael Whitten, P.E. has over 15 years of work experience in the engineering industry. Michael is currently working as a Project Manager at Tatum Smith Welcher Engineers, Inc. since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Engineer at Core States Group from June 2022 to April 2023. From February 2019 to June 2022, they served as a Structural Project Manager at RLG Consulting Engineers. Before that, they worked as a Consultant at Engineering Design & Testing Corp. from May 2017 to February 2019. Michael also held the position of Structural Project Manager at RAYMOND L. GOODSON JR., INC. from February 2016 to May 2017. Their earliest experience in the field was as a Project Manager at Tatum Smith Welcher Engineers, Inc. from May 2007 to January 2016.

Michael Whitten, P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University-Texarkana in 2002. Following this, they attended the University of Arkansas from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering.

In terms of additional certifications, Michael Whitten has obtained various Professional Engineer (PE) licenses from different state boards. Michael became a licensed Professional Engineer in Arkansas in January 2020, in Arizona in September 2017, in New Mexico in January 2021, in Oklahoma in April 2021, in Texas in March 2022, and in Louisiana in March 2022.
