Richard Welcher

Richard Welcher has an extensive background in engineering, primarily focusing on structural and geotechnical engineering. Richard currently serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas, where they teach various courses in civil engineering and architecture. Prior to their academic career, Richard held leadership positions at Tatum-Smith Engineers, Inc. as the Vice President and Principal/COO. Richard also worked as a Project Engineer at Fred Hegi & Associates Structural Engineers, GRUBBS, HOSKYN, BARTON & WYATT, INC, and ExxonMobil Pipeline Co. Throughout their career, Richard has gained experience in project management and engineering design.

Richard Welcher obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas between the years 1995 and 1999. Richard then pursued a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the same university from 2001 to 2003.
