Susan Jackson

Susan Jackson is an experienced professional in finance and operational excellence, currently serving as an Operational Excellence Consultant at Star Academies since October 2021. Previously, Susan held multiple roles at Star Academies, including Finance Manager, Senior Business Manager, and Head of Finance and Business Services from December 2014 to August 2021. Prior experience includes positions as Business and Finance Manager at Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Bursar and Finance Manager at Rochdale Borough Council, and Business Manager at Nazareth House. Additionally, Susan worked as an Accounts Lecturer at Blackburn College and began a career as a Bank Officer at NatWest. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Accounting and Finance from the University of South Wales and a Diploma of School Business Management from the Institute of Administrative Management.
