Alani Nicklin

Alani Nicklin is a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Tauranga City Council since December 2022. Previously, Alani served as a Laboratory Engineer at UL Solutions from April 2018 to December 2022, where responsibilities included electrical safety testing for appliances to various standards and managing equipment in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025. Alani also worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern, testing appliances and performing calibrations. In April 2017, Alani was the Tournament Director for the Beach Volleyball Tournament at the World Masters Games, overseeing tournament logistics. Earlier experience includes working as a Labourer at FRONTIER MOTORHOMES LIMITED, performing metal work. Alani holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Auckland, graduated in 2017.
