George Mortell is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in security engineering and cloud systems administration. Currently serving as a Security Engineer at Tauranga City Council since September 2022, George previously held multiple roles at Johnson County Community College from 2005 to 2022, including Associate Professor, where responsibilities included developing and implementing Azure and Microsoft 365 courses, and Senior Cloud Systems Administrator, where George designed and maintained virtual desktop systems.
