Hesham Albassam

Hesham Albassam, PMP®, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and network engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of Radio Design Solutions and Expert in IoT Solutions at TAWAL since June 2021, Hesham is leading the development of IoT technology roadmaps and has successfully completed the deployment of 2000 smart tower sites. Previously, at Ericsson from May 2019 to June 2021, Hesham was a Program Manager overseeing multiple in-building broadband projects and leading cross-functional teams. Additional roles include serving as a Senior Design Project Manager at STC Solutions, where responsibilities encompassed security solution delivery and project planning, and as a Senior Radio Frequency Consultant at LCC, focusing on broadband solutions for major infrastructure. Early career positions included network engineering and communications engineering roles, complemented by a Master of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
