Ahmed Halaby

Ahmed Halaby has over 15 years of work experience in the technology industry. In 2005, they began their career as a Software Engineer at ITplusARAB, where they worked on Information Security, Web Solutions & 3D Animation. In 2007, they moved to PlusXMS as a Software Engineer, working on a solution that enriched the ordinary SMS message. In 2009, they began working at travelfox as a Technical Team Lead and also started freelancing at Upwork as a Senior Backend & Dev Ops Engineer. In 2015, they joined 247 Labs as a Senior Technical Lead and then moved to Spren (Elite HRV) as a Dev Ops Engineer in 2017. Ahmed then returned to 247 Labs as a Senior Backend & Dev Ops Engineer before joining Tawfeer Market in 2019 as their Chief Technology Officer.

Ahmed Halaby obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, General from Alexandria University between 2004 and 2008. In December 2022, they obtained an Advanced Cloud DevOps certification from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), Egypt - Udacity. Ahmed is currently enrolled in a Nanodegree program in Cloud Computing at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology - Udacity.
